Steve Hunter founded Onset Design in 1989. Initially working with Edutech, an Autodesk developer and reseller, focus soon turned towards product integration and document management. With a background in course development at Swinburne University and seminar delivery, Steve spent three years as the editor of CAD User Australasia and Design World South East Asian magazines before becoming product manager and application engineer with Australian software distribution company CADApps. Ten years ago, Onset was registered with BlueCielo (formerly Cyco) as an AWIC (AutoManager Workflow Integration Centre) and has been working with the InnoCielo Meridian and TeamWork products since their inception. Today, as a BlueCielo Solution partner, Onset enjoys recognition as the Regional Partner of the Year (Asia Pacific). Steve is based in Melbourne.
Amanda is the business development manager and primary contact for a number of Onset Designs BlueCielo sites. A qualified software engineer, Amanda has seven years of experience with the BlueCielo product range and was formerly a senior technical consultant with iDox and a software engineer with Matrikon. Prior to this she worked as a project management consultant within the telecommunications industry. With a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) and a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Amanda also holds full accreditation with the BlueCielo product suite and can discuss ECM solutions at any level. Amanda is based in Sydney.
Tony joined Onset in 2008 as a professional consultant specialising in the integration of 3D design environments (Inventor and SolidWorks) with Meridian and the Global Collaboration Framework. Formerly the product development manager for Reliance Worldwide, Tony brings eight years of professional engineering experience in 3D design environments (3 years as engineering manager) to this role. With experience in the management and development of multidisciplinary engineering offices, Tony introduces an insightful perspective drawn from his engineering, business and production process knowledge. In combination with four years of hands-on, Meridian user experience, Tony incorporates software development, deployment and integration of the InnoCielo product suite to deliver solid, intuitive business solutions. Tony is backed by a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Space) from the University of Queensland and is based in Brisbane.
Marco joins Onset in 2010 as a professional consultant specialising in the implementation of the BlueCielo product suite. Marco comes to Onset with 4 years of BlueCielo product knowledge working as the Technical Manager with CadStation Solutions and also with 4 years of experience managing and implementing both Infrastructure and Business Systems while working with Watpac & ESRI Australia. Marco can discuss how your ECM solution will integrate within your current or planned environment and is backed by a Diploma of Information Technology & Project Management. Marco is based in Brisbane.
Sean has worked with Onset on a part-time basis since 2008 and joined the company full-time in 2010. In 2009 he graduated from Swinburne University with a degree in Professional Software Development and provides strong programming support to the team. With a primary focus on .NET, the role incorporates a range of web-based, scripting and database technologies. This technical depth assists in the delivery of tailored BlueCielo and Autodesk custom solutions. Sean is based in Melbourne
In addition to the key personnel described above, our developers Daniel Chambers and Adrian Morgan specialise in .NET and web development and assist in a number of areas, working with us on a contract basis from the Melbourne office. Further, we have Deb Brownlie in an office management role and use the programming services of Mark Glasgow (.NET) and Geoff Rasmussen (VB, VBA & SQL).
