Runtime Files required for BlueCielo MSI Installation Packages

BlueCielo have recently advised that have certain runtime files are required for BlueCielo Windows Installer Packages (.MSI) for Meridian & Teamwork. Without these runtime files, the BlueCielo Installation Packages may display registration errors or may result in the application not installing or executing correctly.

Example Errors:

Operating Systems can include 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7. The easiest way to ensure that a BlueCielo MSI Installation is successful is to manually install the runtime files available in the Microsoft Redistributable Packages before Meridian or Teamwork MSI.

Please consult your System Administrator for further information on Installing BlueCielo Software & Microsoft Packages. User Account Control (UAC) must also be temporarily disabled during the installation. Details on the Microsoft Redistributable Packages are below.

32-bit Computers

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable package

64-bit Computers

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable package

NOTE: BlueCielo Installation Executables (.EXE) do not have this problem.
